Can you un-map a car?

Thought about one of those instead?
I havent to be honest.

Up to 6k for the right motor wouldn't be a problem and thats assuming I get nowt for my 306. If I get a few hundred for that I'll be laughing.

Its funny, I've basically gone full circle. About 8 months ago I was thinking that I might like a VRS. Then I thought maybe something smaller would be better (Astra or Focus), decided that was a bad idea and started considering a 3 series or A4, now my redundancy looks "unlikely" as opposed to "probable" so I need a hatchback again. :o

Despite all my flittering around different makes and models I keep coming back to the Octy VRS so maybe thats the one for me.

Work issues aside I was driving to the dump last night thinking. How would all this fit in a saloon. Might go for a ride down Thetford forrest next weekend if the weather holds. Again same question. :( Looks wise and the feel of the interior I prefer the Beemer but I just don't know if I could live with it.

I wonder if a dealer would give me a months test drive ;)

Be prepared to travel for a good one as theyre quite hard to find. I found a VGC one with 46k well within my budget. Travelled over 200 miles eac way.
Yeah I think thats going to be the case. Doesn't help being stuck out in the arse end of england. Being central would be so much easier. "East Anglian? Thats abroad innit?" Feels like it at times :D

<- :( count yourself lucky, buying my car locally saved a lot of hassle and expense.

I quite like the yellow colour :o, it's a bit paler (more lemon than banana?) and the vRS just about carries it off. I would have been looking for one this summer too, but a ST200 came up locally so I bought it :D. Thought about one of those instead? Would probably be a couple of years older and a couple of grand cheaper.
what do you do in such a remote place?
how do you manage to live there?
are there any speed cameras?
how often do you visit the mainland?

Seems ok, hard to tell from 1 picture though.

Make sure its had the full cambelt + waterpump done at least.

That trim needs blacking ASAP!
Yeah I just meant in terms of price for the mileage. I thought it seemed OK but nothing special.

Its odd about the trim, the back and sides are fine. CLICK

Just going to look anyway, not buying yet :)
