Can you use 2 Sky STBs with the same viewing card?

So I have 2 Sky+ HD STBs, is there a way I can use both of them. So take the viewing card out of the main one and put it in the 2nd so I can use the disk space on both?

I already tried to put the sky viewing card in the other box, have a broken or de-authorised something now? It wasn't connected via a phone line though.

Thanks. Also random question is there any way to disable pre-recorded on demand since with actual on-demand it is completely pointless. And is there a max HDD size that you can put in the STB, so could I put in a 3TB or 4TB HDD?

I find it quite strange that half of the HDD is just sitting there doing nothing, it made sense before on demand, but now it is a complete waste.

I have a 500GB box which is 50\50, so half the space is sitting there doing absolutely nothing since everything on pre-recorded on demand and be downloaded through proper on demand.
