If you buy and read a magazine, then the next day take it back (assuming it is still in good condition and the pages aren't sticky or something) and get a refund/gift voucher to then spend on another magazine.

I never really buy gaming/tech magazines as the news has already been released online. But sometimes it's nice to read a physical magazine (Flipboard is my tablet alternative).

Surely they would need to set some sort of a test on the contents of the magazine to ensure you haven't used it?
