He said that he thought he was half-way down the outside of Button when Button 'closed the door' the next thing he knew he was in the wall.

He then said he was going to nurse the car back into the pits when the team told him to retire because there was suspension damage. He got out of the car and checked to find that it was just a blown tyre - no sus damage at all.

"Jenson made a mistake into the corner and I got the run on him, I felt I was halfway up the outside, but he kept moving across - whether or not he saw me I don't know, but then I was in the wall."
