Canadian Grand Prix 2011, Circuit Gilles Villeneuve - Race 7/19

Past races are out, this is the here and now. The drivers were saying that it's too wet to race, Hamilton, Vettle and Button said over the radio. The Video feed is misleading due to how the camera is positioned and the fact it's not doing 150mph tailing another car.

Fact of the matter is saftey is paramount, in everywalk of live.

You do realising there was two SC and a red flag and we are talking about different aspects of it. I don't think anyone disagrees with the red flag. Juergen two SC for the wet.

And past races are very relevant, safety has got to much. The cars are so strong, should have seen the two lemans crash's to see what a monocoque can do.

Whats it like camping at silverstone. Anyone done it ? I have a 3 day ticket and we are all deciding whether to travel on sat and sun to silverstone or camp there overnight

Its great. We stayed at whittlebury, as long as you take something to cook with you can avoid some of the extortion. Normally a band tent on the saturday which can get abit rowdy, no problem if you camp further away and dont wish to partake.

I agree with you that we can't really judge sat in the UK watching on tele but I'm pretty sure before he stacked it, Hamilton said it was fine to race.

Button looked left but Hamilton didn't make his move until button looked forward again.

That's the way i saw it (may be wrong as it was brief shot) - Button looked into his mirror while Hamilton was still behind him lining him up. When Button looks ahead Hamilton then swings out to make the pass.

Still feel it's a racing incident - i just hope that neither is penalised as F1 is getting far too sanitised...
