Both drivers will be involved in more failures and accidents yet. Far to early to say it's Rosbergs to lose when his team mate is out performing him just about everywhere. The luck will change.
This is it exactly. Hamilton has driven better than Rosberg so far this season and Nico has yet to beat Lewis in a straight fight. That Rosberg is now so far ahead in the championship is down to pure luck.
Even if he did know, he doesn't know by how much - wasn't there someone blamed for an accident a year or two ago for early braking, it's a similar situation.
If Perez had DRS and, more talent, Rosberg would have finished probably 20+ seconds down. Ultimately they could all gain 1-2seconds a lap up till they got stuck behind Perez.
Rosberg could not have gotten more lucky, absolutely deserved penalty for cutting the chicane, the first corner barge was very very naughty but hard to punish really, and had the two cars closest behind (hamilton/Perez) have failures that saved his race completely.
