Does anyone know how to cancel an in progress update? My Wildfire S recently offered me a software upgrade to 2.3.5 which I accepted.
Now however the phone is stuck at "Installing app (1/2)" the progress bar never goes anywhere so I left it 6 hours and in that time it had used almost a full battery but still made now progress. I've turned the phone off a few times but as soon as it loads it just starts installing again but still makes no progress.
If anyone knows a way to kill the update process or force it to complete that would be brilliant, I've had a look around but can't see anything that would seem to do it.
