Cancel website hosting

Hi I just signed up with 987 mb to host my website however annoyingly I just got a email from the start up loans company saying they will host me for £5 a year - is there anyway I can cancel or am I usually tied into a contract ?

If only you signed up to a host like TSOhost or Vidahost.
