Cancelling WoW

i dont think so

Don't make me link my ctprofile that's blatantly proven that I was at the Four Horsemen in Naxxramas. He's seen it all, and I'll wager I know better than you :) It's one of the most repetitive games you can find, but that's the nature of grind-based mmorpgs. Getting a shift-based job thankfully ended the raids.

Im trying to cancel - but i cant..

Im only lvl18 and loving every minute of it, my two closed mates play and im in a guild with over 100 members so its all good...

Dont sell, continue!! :)

All my guildies did was PVE raid, it did my head in. At least in other games you can organise good fun PvP raids and "drag the lowbies about" raids :p

That happens now, go on raids to UC with 30 od level 60s and 10 people down to and including level 20 :D

if you look on Ebay under PC games there are loads of accounts for games for sale,
so i wonder how people do manage to
A) sell them
and
B) sometimes they go for silly amount, HUGE amounts as well, but in reality the accounts are not legally allowed to be sold. So they could be claimed back at any point in theory ?

They are not supposed to be sold, but I know of people who have and myself.

I also bought a new account and have actually started playing again, Im just not spending as much time as I used to this time so things will go slower but i'll still be able to play and have fun doing so.

It is illegal to sell, but like Steam accounts are, if you hide your steamID, username steam cant trace it

I guess the same goes for wow, dont show ure username in the ebay advert and how do blizzard know who u are?

EG: there could be 100's of lvl 60 rogue's, blizzard arnt going to ban all of them are they?

Before you give up, try rolling a few more characters - try horde side for example. I play undead a lot and its pretty good fun really and in/around Brill you don't need to be doing a lot of walking around unnecessarily.

Just my tuppence worth.

:D

Those with 'tier2' armor and above can sell their accounts for nearly a grand in some places, I'm considering doing the same. It's quite incredible really, the market that is in place for such accounts and characters. The prices shot up since the ability to transfer characters across servers for a small fee - it enabled character buyers to play without prejudice.

why are WoW addicts giving their worthless opinions on the petty game, this guy wants to know why he cant log in, not a biased reason to go back on the game, the game itself is a pointless grind just to get the best level, more money, best armour etc. then they bring out a new level, new armour and so on and so forth, all the while they skim £8 a month from your bank account. which is pure profit, dont tell me they need it for servers, look at gw, silkroad is free!! yet they still have servers, its just all a big illusion to waste your life grinding out pointless levels spending many hours of your life on a worthless game when you could be enjoying youself, doing something which people will look up to you for, why not go and achieve something with your life. dont waste it...for your own sake, quit WoW, do something.

sorry but you almost had me take your points onboard but your opening statement soon scuppered that for me.
not everyone who plays wow is an addict and their opinions ARE worthy. a lot of people enjoy it and some do choose the wrong character for instance that isnt suited to them so its advisable to try a few different ones to try and find one you like. if at the end you dont find any or just get bored then youre more than entitled to cancel it

 WOW

Im guessing people play the game because they do enjoy it. To them there not wasting there lives and most of them probally enjoy a happy social life and have a job, either part time or full time!

Wow has a lot more players than GW and look, wow charge and its more popular then GW and Silkroad. The quality of support from blizzard is better, the game overall is better. At anytime you are free to cancel.

Ive had problems with Silkroad, the servers arnt very big, they fill up quickly and you cant use your char.

£8 a month is all profit, if i worked for blizzard id be laughing my socks off at all you people buy it mindlessly while counting my billions.

i think your ill informed :) or i wanna know where your folk are getting that amount!, i tried to sell my account about 6 months ago - 4x60 and my mage was one of the best equipped mages on server if not the best equipped. The other characters were a priest, rogue and warlock and along with my mage 2 of the others had epic mounts and epic equipment - the most i got offered was £400~ + account. My friend sold his rank14 warrior for around about £300 and those were in high demand at the time. As expansion is nearing and everyone starts on a level playing field people - it would be stupid to pay even those amounts for an account, considering how easy it is to get to 60.

WoW was my first mmorpg and it will almost certainly be my last, i lost count of how much time i wasted just idling around places doing jack all. Great game and all but the time sink is just ridiculous if you get right into it.

its as much as you want to put into it really, atleast the solo side of pve and pv is as much as you want to do it too. the only times you have to put any real long hours in, are when it comes to running raids and instances. they can take a couple of hours+ each

Oh, the irony. You start off by bshing people for giving their opinions of the game and saying that the OP only wanted to know why he couldnt log on. You then go on to give your opinion of the game.

I think someone (read you) has an overinflated opinion of themselves thinking they can escape their own criticism
