Cannot access google.com or google.co.uk

i have recently upgraded to windows 7 rc (on sunday) and today for some reason i cannot access google.com i am using firefox i have run a virus check (nod32) which has come up with nothing i have also run spybot, which removed a few things, but doesnt seem to have solved the problem. any ideas?

yeah can access everything else

if i ping google.com i get 74.125.45.100

74.125.45.100 loads up Google for me. Not Google.com because there's a link to go to Google.com. And strangely not Google.co.uk because Google.co.uk says "UK" under the Google logo. 74.125.45.100 loads up a Google page with "English" under the Google logo.

Which ISP are you with?

good ole BT if i use my other computer next to me which is on the same network (wired) it loads google fine.

im currently connected via wireless if that makes any difference?

*edit again i can also access google by typing in that ip address :/

if i try and ping www.google.com it comes up with "pinging www.1.google.com

i think somethings going a little wrong :/

Hmm so not ISP or DNS servers if two PCs on same network are OK. Guessing proxy issues or spyware?

got no proxy setting, and it was working this morning. i have spybot s&d installed and i ran a check about 20 mins ago. which didnt find anything guess i will run it again and try restarting see if anything popsup

has a firewall blocked google. check your firewall program settings

What happens when you try to go to Google.com, what screen do you get in the browser - 404, network problems?

well spybot found a few more things, but nothing linked to the google problem, i just restarted and now google works fine, guess i little annoying blip, let hope if doesnt happen again..
