"Cannot connect to EA servers" BC2

Having a problem with this atm, bought it the other night and half the time ive tried to play online it says it cant connect to the EA servers?

Any ideas?

Try that. Download the tool and update BC2. Worked for me. Also restart your PC if you haven't done so since installing it.

+1 a lot of people having the this issues I guess its servers overloaded new DCL and the steam sale.

same here, like mentioned, prob something to do with the epic deal on Steam, server overload!

Was getting this message all lastnight. Restarting the game did help sometimes.

i was having the same problem, i just turned the router off and on and restarted pc and that worked for me.

I used to get it all the time, but only if I tried to play during peak hours. If I play during the middle of the night, it's fine.

Kinda suggests it's EA's servers are overloaded, as opposed to any firewall/PB problems at my end. Bloody EA!!

You might want to try updating punkbuster, try the link that me227 has supplied in this thread.

^^ yeah. First thing you should do if you've got PB problems, is update it manually. It doesn't always work properly when it updates automatically.
