Hi guys,

I have a computer that I am trying to connect wirelessly but i cant :)

I can find the connection fine and connect, but when I select internet.exploer the page does not load. I think the problem is internet.exploer is looking at the wirerd LAN for access as when I connect to the internet directly (via cable) it works perfect.

How do I change it to use Wireless for internet.

Probably an easy fix but i cant solve it.

Thanks

Don't you need to go into the Internet Explorer options, Connections tab and tell IE what connection to use?

If there isn't one then you need to go to the Network Connections page (not in IE but Windows) and make sure that the Wireless connection is active? You might need to disable the LAN connection to make Windows use the wireless one.

I cant find any settings though, look through wireless + I.E, but no luck.

Please post any suggestions,

Thanks guys.

So in the Network Connections area (Start>Settings>Network Connections) there is nothing there?

Hi,

All the network adapters are displayed coreectly etc. I can even connect wirelessly and I have a good reception. Its just as soon as I start I.E nothing happens.

Cant find any settings relating to which network adapter to use for internet :(

Does Firefox/some other browser work then?

IE isn't set to use a proxy server is it? IE7 I presume? Can you ping a website or server with your wireless PC? Is it a laptop?
