Right, bit of a weird request here guys:

I have a Technics st-x902l Tuner unit which has a remote control sensor. However, I don't have the control nor can I find one anywhere on the internet!

Has anyone got any ideas? If anyone can suggest a place to look or knows somewhere that sells them, it would be very much appreciated!

Just keep an eye on eBay, I think it's pretty much all you can do if you can't find a new one.

Unless any of those universal remotes work on it? Maybe a Panasonic one will work as Technics used to be Panasonic. I found a 28" widescreen TV in my front garden (no remote) but my Panasonic digibox remote works on it.

Our TV is Panasonic. I just tried that and it didn't work, thanks for the idea though!

I'm not sure if one of the universal ones will work: the tuner is fairly old and I don't have an original remote to "teach" the universal one with. Might be worth a try if nothing turns up though.

Anyone else?

You don't always need to teach.. some have a lil' code booklet.

Good point. Reckon it will still have Technics commands in there even though the system is very old?

Check the Logitech website on their Harmony remote contol section, IIRC you can test the software to see if your equipment is listed in their database.
