Cannot get win10 homegroup to work.

2 machines. W10 home and other pro.

No matter what I do they will not see each other when I try each one to start a homegroup.

The pro one says it starts a homegroup, issues a password, then doesn't even join it itself.

I've deleted roaming data, I've followed numerous guides, I've checked services are running it's not rocket science but I've lost my mind wasting 2h on something so trivial I just don't see why it's not working.

A TV on my network has no issues seeing the shared directorys.

Windows 10 Pro will not start or Join a homegroup....
 
No both wired through an asus router.
The more I read the more I find people having issues since creators update.
 
It has worked yes. I've given up on it. It was just annoying the crap out of me.
