cannot install x64 raid drivers on vista 64 raid

hi when i load drivers during x64 vista ultimate installation i cannot loadthe drivers from disk as it says vista does not support unassigned drivers and please load 3bit drivers, when i load 32nit drivers it still doesnt work when i just continue and ignore it after installtion the os does not boot as the raid driver is missing. please help?
i have loaded the latest drivers from the abit website.

currently want to run 4gb ram with 2x 500gb hdd on raid 0

get them from whoever makes the chipset, not the motherboard, usually more up to date

extract them onto a usb stick

upgraded to w7 and this worked fine
