I have just bought a pair of OCZ Platinum DDR 1GB sticks (still on my trusty 939 board :)) These are rated at 2.8V. However, when trying to set this in BIOS, I found that it will only go up to 1.7V...how useless! At this voltage, the memory clocks at around 184Mhz. There is also a setting in BIOS for DRAM Frequency, which is set to 200Mhz, although I'm not sure what effect this has.

Are there any programs I could use (windows based) that would allow me to turn up the voltage a bit?

1.7? or did you mean 2.7?

Nothing windows based will let you turn it up higher than the highest value in the BIOS.

Only thing I can suggest is the OCZ DDR Booster if you can find anywhere still selling it.
