DRZ said:Just how good are these dedicated macro flashes compared to a well set up "normal" flash rig?
I have let my macro side lapse HUGELY of late, predominantly due to lighting. I am swinging towards getting a really good all-round flash, but if the results are massively better with a ring flash would it be worth going for one of those instead? The downside being I cant use it for anything else presumably...
I have a Canon 550EX which can be tilted down a little but it doesn't produce great results - shadows are harsh.DRZ said:Just how good are these dedicated macro flashes compared to a well set up "normal" flash rig?
