Canon RAW files to iPad?

I'm off to Thailand for three weeks and will be taking my 40D and iPad so would like to be able to backup all my RAW's to the iPad. If possible I'd also like to view them on the iPad so I can upload to flickr and facebook while over there.

Any ideas of how this can be done simply?

It's the Retina. I need a CF convertor or that would have been perfect.

Then this might work http://store.apple.com/uk/product/MD821ZM/A/lightning-to-usb-camera-adapter

just connect the cameras USB to that cable to the ipad, and it *should* open iphoto to import.

I've been using the original camera kit for iPad for years now when I'm away from home for backing up photos. With the lighting connector iPads I just have to use the adapter now to connect them up.

I literally asked the same question a few threads down :-)

I bought what Vader recommends above to go with my IPad retina and D5100.
Main thing to ensure is that your 'camera' uses PTP (photo transfer protocol) which is the picture transferring bit like on the PC.
