canoverting SATA drive from dynamic to logical without XP/2000?

So i've got a 160gb sata drive that's been an ornament in my old system due to it being a dynamic drive for god knows what reason, how do i go about converting it back to a logical drive, i use vista 64 as my OS.

Do you mind losing whatever's on it? If so you'll need something that'll cope with dynamic disks - XP, Vista Business or Ultimate etc.

If not just chuck it in the machine and format it as normal using Disk Management.

even if you do value the data on it, i'd still copy it off first before meddling with things

i'd just copy it all off and format it like rp says

as far as i know, the disk has nothing on it, i've never used it lol, at least, i think i haven't, so if there is anything on it, it's nothing i'll miss.
