I've managed to change profiles my profiles in the past but despite me changing profiles I can't seem to go up to 4.20Ghz.
errrr ok
any more information? setup, board, what happens when you try?
What CPU are you using?
What profiles are you referring to? Motherboard overclocking profiles?
Speccy just says "K19", which exact model is your CPU?PC keeps reverting back to profile 1 running at 3.7 so I'm a little lost...
Sorry Pal I was a little vague I was talking about the DRAM settings.
That's hard to say, but 4200 is a pretty high speed for an AM4 CPU, did your PC crash or reboot at some point?I can't figure out how or why profile 2 has reverted to 3200MHz & your assistance would be appreciated

No not at allThat's hard to say, but 4200 is a pretty high speed for an AM4 CPU, did your PC crash or reboot at some point?
What happens you enable the higher speed profile? Does it not boot?No not at all
4800 is a REALLY high speed for DDR4.Sorry it's not 4200 it's 4800
Is that good or bad ? Having a high speed on a DDR4?What happens you enable the higher speed profile? Does it not boot?

AM4 CPUs like RAM that is around 3200 or 3600. If you go above 4000, it is more likely to have problems and you'll have to change some settings manually. I'd be surprised if your motherboard can configure 4800 automatically. Is that good or bad ? Having a high speed on a DDR4?
In what context? What are your thoughts on my set up?
