Cant connect to network/internet

Hi all,

I have finished putting together the PC after waiting for a replacement motherboard, and I am now having trouble accessing the internet.

I have downloaded drivers for the network adapter on he laptop and installed it to the PC, but it still does not work.

The trouble i am having is the yellow light will not stay on, i keep losing connection to the network. I have tried another Ethernet cable and i know the cables work because i tried them both in the laptop.

Can anyone help me please, i really dont want to send this board back

Can you check in the device manager to confirm that the drivers are installed?

Ethernet enabled in BIOS? No reason it would have been disabled but worth a check. As said see if the Ethernet controller is installed in device manager

Surprisingly it is now working, i changed my router, and i can now connect to the internet
