Hi all,
Just trying to setup a spanned volume in WHS 2011 for my server backup drive, and when I tried to convert the two disks (a 1tb and a 3tb) it kicked up an error saying
'There is not enough space available on the disk(s) to complete this operation.'
Both disks are completely empty as I have formatted them a couple of times each and deleted the volumes again...
Actually I have just managed to convert the 3tb to dynamic disk but I still can't convert the 1tb. I managed to convert it when it was formatted with NTFS but then I had to delete the volume so I could span it which made it basic again...
Anything I can try?

EDIT: Don't worry managed to sort it I created and NTFS partition on the 1tb, converted it to dynamic and then extended it with the 3tb
