Can't delete folder - Could not find this item Windows 7

Hi guys,

I've got a now empty folder on my desktop which I can't delete... windows tells me it can't be found? I'm tried numerous restarts and a chkdsk's - nothing. It's still there

I only created it this morning to temporarily house some favourites!

Any ideas?

does not have to be, just use that app. Had problems similar before and that app cleared the folder.

Sorted with an Ubuntu Live CD...
