Can't find any channels

I recently aqquired a PVR-150MCE TV PCI Tuner card. I popped it in this afternoon and installed the drivers and wintv2000 software off the site.

I ran Wintv2000, did a auto scan for channels using

Channel By country - United Kingdom
Broadcast/cable - I selected Antenna
Tuner Format - I selected I
Video Format - PAL BGHIDK

I was using my roof aerial, but it would not pick up any channels..why is that?

Can someone help im im clueless here.

Does this card pick up digital or analogue or both?

You say you chose the antenna option, what are the other options?
Is the aerial plugged directly into the card, not going through any splitters/set top boxes etc.

Analogue. The aerial is directly into the card.

still no luck!

other options are cable and CABLE(HRC) or something

Nonono! Im not after freeview, just after BBC1&2, ITV, 4, C5..Its an analougue tuner not a digital one so thats all it picks up.

[Not that it matters anyway but im in a freeview area. Got 2 boxes in my house]

Try the different PAL settings. One of them will work im sure...

Yeah but somtimes the software is wrong. I had one a while back it it didnt work on the setting it should have. Try them all just in case... it wont break anything.
