Hello

I just got a new comp from oc with a 64gb ssd upgrade, looking in 'computer' I can only see the regular hard drive. Where can I locate the ssd please?

Regards

It should be in 'Computer' so if it's not there something's up.

Open Disk Management (right click on 'Computer', select manage and then click on Disk Management).

Post a screen shot of the Disk Management screen.

Hmm, I'm being asked to choose MBR or GPT.

Edit: Ah, it's my saviour again:)

I take it you've found the SSD then?

Have OcUK just fitted it and not even formatted it?

Did you buy the system with Windows installed as OcUK should really have installed it on the SSD if you did?

Ah I see, on closer inspection it is the ssd in 'computer' and yes windows is installed on it. Hmm, so where is the regular hard drive? is it something to do with the MBR or GPT thing?

If there is another drive in Disk Management with unallocated space then that'll be the HDD if you have one of those as well.

If you're not sure then post an image of the Disk management screen.

Right click on the unallocated space to format the drive and assign a drive letter.

MBR is fine and use the NTFS file format if given the option.

A quick format is all you need.

You're welcome.

At least we managed to solve one thing.

Hopefully someone with more knowledge of Nvidia/HDMI will be able to sort out the other problem if you don't manage to get it working properly yourself.
