Can't get in any game om MW2

I don't play MW2 very often but its often fun to just go on a killing rampage. Anyway, I tried to play the other week and couldnt find any games at all. I have since done a complete fresh install on ym PC and still having the same problems.

Im on virgin 30mb service with the super hub in 'bridged mode' (DMZ trick) with an ASUS RT N16 W/Tomato as my router. Ports are forwarded properly and I have open NAT but can't find any games...

This game has no more then 15,000 people on it at any given time and if you played in the evening probably about 8,000...

Now believe it or not I may have the solution for this because this is what I do. One day I can home from college and saw that I couldn't get in a game it would just let my ping count up to the hundreds like "ms>150 ping" and I could never connect, this was around the time we moved to Talk talk -.- so now what I do is I get up my friends lists in steam and try to join three or four people through join session and once I connect to someone, play a game with them, then I can then actually join my own games. This is tried and tested by me

if the server browser doesnt find you any games check that both the tick boxes are unchecked on the windows ICS (internet connection sharing) tab in internet options.. random i know but worked for me.

Thats cus hardly anyone is playing it now and playing the other version.
