Are they Hyperthreading CPU's? if so and you've a gig of ram or more run two clients for 30-50% more points

Yep, both HT.

I'd rather stick at one client though

If they are in use by others or low on Ram I completely agree.
Have 4 HT P4's here at work only one of which currently is running two clients.
