Thank you for offering a suggestion - unfortunately, it had no effect on the problem, I am sorry to say.Try flushing the DNS cache and see what happens?
Right click on the start menu and choose Command Prompt (Admin) or Windows PowerShell (Admin) from the menu.
Type in the command ipconfig/flushdns.
Yeah I was going to say similar. OP try using Cloudflare (1.1.1.2 / 1.0.0.2) or Quad9 (9.9.9.9 / 149.112.112.112) IPs for your DNS (just pop them into the NIC properties). Flush DNS again and see if that is any better. Maybes also just try a reboot of the router in case the problem is at that end (could be just a coincidence). If it's just specific sites it does sound like it could be DNS related.
Could maybe try reinstalling network drivers? What's the model of the ethernet/Wifi adapter?
