I don't even know how this has installed on my pc. Ask.com say it isn't spyware but no matter what i try, i cant get rid of it. So far i've tried..

Disabling it in control panel/ internet options.
Tried all the options in firefox and there is no trace of it in there.
Tried hijack this to disable the entry in the registry, rebooted pc and it's STILL THERE!!
Tried Add/remove programs and it isn't in there

Someone please help it's driving me nuts!

Don't know if this will help but googled this bit

This is junk malware that tried to hijack your browsing and will not uninstall properly when you remove it. Do not install it! If you have installed it and need to remove it, follow these instructions: 1. go to tools-> add-ons 2. then check extension and check the ASK toolbar 3. and click uninstall then restart the firefox --------------------------------------... To get you firefox's web browser function back to normal: 1. type about:config into the web address bar 2. press enter on your keyboard 3. in the filter search bar type Keyword.URL 4 double click on Keyword.URL 5. copy and paste this address into the box http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe... 6. close the Firefox tab
