It's really annoying but I can't seem to get wifi in half of the rooms in my house. Is there anything I can buy to make it so devices in other rooms can connect?
I wouldn't say it was big, maybe where the wifi is needed it about 10 meters away and there are a few walls but not too big.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction though I'll take a look Any recommendations on brand/model? I had a look at the Powerline Wireless adapters, how exactly do they work? Do I need 2?
My house is quite large and at first (7 years ago) I tried extenders and what not but the solution I settled on (that worked effectively and reliably) was:
Phoneline connected to downstairs router, cable from router to homeplug/powerline adapter. Then the other routers connected to the other home plug/powerline adapters. This setup has been working well for years now. Just connect to different wifi networks according to your location.
However, with my newest router which is Wireless N and decent devices (iPhone, Nexus 5, MacBook Air, Lenovo Thinkpad, iPads and Mac Minis) I can connect to the most distant router directly in most cases. I just make sure now and again that the router is set up correctly on the channel with the least interference.

I bought 4 TP Link adapters and they've worked reliably. They always come in at least a pair. One "sends" it in to the mains ring, the other "receives" it. Of course they're both doing TX/RX but I'm sure you catch my drift.
