Well can't get VMware to recognise disk and can't load/unzip the .iso direct either.

linux Noobie alert - help please.

Did that no joy - might be the old drive I'm using as I just killed my burner with a power spike

Edit: and on that note I'm off to bed, just knew it wasn't going to be straight forward - at least the BB finally up and running (don't know how I survived without it)

you're trying to load a disk in VMware from an ISO image?

VM - Removable Drives - CD-ROM - EDIT
Use ISO Image
Browse (select file)
ok

Edit: in firefox now all going well but off to bed as early start tomorrow. uploaded my first normal Wu to - 550ppd
