Can’t install Windows 7 with a X570 Tachi

I think there is a limit as how many times you can use the license key.

I thought they were going to tell me "this is an OEM key, you got this illegally huh?" lol but the guy was very nice, gave me the new code and now the license is linked to my Gmail account from what I saw.

So yea i bought a cd key from them, used it and worked so i expect the same with yourself.

whether you buy from cjs or not up to you but i recommend cjs because the key they gave worked fine.

This is a USB support issue. Plug your devices into USB 2 ports.

No header on the motherboard? If that's the case you'll need to slipstream the USB 3 driver into the Windows 7 install.

check you manual page 1. Numbers24 and 25 both usb 2.0 headers.

Yes. And i think your case has usb3 . if you have an old case somewere it will have a doner cable you could use?

Which is what I have my case front usb connected into but it doesn’t appear to work. I though usb what backwards compatible but nothing seems to work for me.

I find it bizarre in 2019 that this is an issue tbh.

No good for me I’m afraid I can’t do none of that unless I remove all my components and reinstall all my old stuff. I’m not in the right mood to do all of that without throwing something. I’ll just install windows 10 and so it that way.

lack of usb3 support, I think x570 has no legacy usb2 ports. (but does have ps/2).

If you can find the drivers, then you need to integrate usb3 drivers on the install iso then it should work, either that or use a ps/2 port (now you guys know why ps/2 = good).
