Can't join in CSS game??

Guys I went into Steam games right clicked counter strike source and clicked "delete local content" I then reinstalled and I still have the same issue??

Is it any better to go via control panel add/remove?

This is really beginning to to annoy me now :( only wanna play some CSS ...

Any other advice? As stated I can get in the game, get stuck as a camera (on all maps) then i get disconnected from the server???

Personally I would have deleted local content through steam and then deleted the actual directory manually myself, removing any residual modified files/content.

Maybe try that next?
 
Do you change any of the settings in the control pannel or have any scripts running with the game ?
if so try running it without changing any settings and get rid of scripts .
might help, just another option to try

Right deleted local content then deleted steam from add/remove

Nothing left in C: to delete so going for another full install!!

Lucky im on 14meg "Be there" broadband :D

UPDATE:

The total uninstall and reinstall seems (fingers crossed) to have fixed this issue?
