cant join server in BF3

getting the error message "game disconnected: couldn't join server"

this occurs on every attempt.

any ideas? tried disabling UPnP but no luck.
 
I had this, try a different default browser. For some reason Firefox wouldn't let me connect whereas Chrome would.
 
cheers for replies, just installed some other multilayer games and they wont connect to a game either.

any advice? never has this problem b4.
disabled AV, no luck.

So its not connecting to ANY multiplayer game? Try giving your router a reboot and see how they helps.
 
I feel your pain mate... i too tried everything from UPNP, to unistall, to turning anti virus off, to changing browsers to everything!!! I had 3 of my clan mates actually have a go at trying to fix it, all i got was error codes Could not connect, something went wrong, error
code: () and many many more

I had to do a fresh install of windows and after that it worked a treat!

ye got 3 multi player capable games installed, blacklight retribution, BF3, BFBC2 and cant get into a game on any of them. rebooting router didnt work.
 
sorted it now. I was connected to my local wireless and some unknown public connection which had limited network access. disabled that and its sorted now.
