Can't login to Windows 7!?

So if it wasn't bad enough that my ssd has corrupted my windows 10 so that is useless. Now my HDD with Windows 7 on it has messed up. It's saying user profile can't be loaded. What on earth? I only have 1 account. How do I fix this?

It's OK. I have resolved this as per Microsoft instructions.

If you have AVG installed, remove it and replace with something else.

I do! thanks, just read that it caused the problem. Fairly straight forward fix once you've done it once but scary none the less. Ill get shot of AVG. Questions is...do I really need an Antivirus these days? I don't download anything shady. just steam games and some google images I guess. Never open dodgy email and gmail keeps them away anyway.

Just install Security Essentials and run malwarebytes every so often.

Ah yes, wasn't that the AV that tried to delete your C:\Windows folder a while back?
