Hi guys,
A really easy one I'm sure but it's got me foxed... I manage a small domain with about 20 desktop clients on it. I've been going through the dns entries on the server because, even though I use dhcp, there were a couple of ip conflicts. Anyway, I've got it down to just one machine but ping just won't work, it times out
Everything else works; users can log on, access to shared drives etc. I can even remote access it with vnc. Just can't ping. I turn windows firewall off and hey presto, ping works. Weird.
It's probably staring me right in the face but I need some pointers.
