Can't post preview links on Facebook

So whenever I used to post a link to an image or youtube video, it would pop up with a little preview of what's in the link, only now it just prints up the hyperlink. Other people's links to youtube videos are still showing up on their pages, but links posted on my wall or those I post on other people's don't. Did they change something? Or am I doing something wrong?

I don't know Facebook, but could it be an option in your profile?

This happens from time to time. Best option would be to log out of Facebook, clear your Internet cache files (i.e. temp files, cookies, etc), log back in and give it a try.

I'll try that. Morba, it happens the same whether I'm posting it as a status update or a wall post. Can't find any pertinent options in the settings menu.

Are you posting it as a status or as a link?

Click "Share: Link" above the "What's on your mind?" field.

You then paste the link into the field, click 'Attach', giving you the preview, and it'll give you the option to edit that preview and add your own comment...

I usually post it as a status and it automatically generates a preview.
