I noticed the other day that my system was lagging a little and after checking task manager i saw that a process relating to Intel RST was loading my CPU to the tune of 25% at all times. After rebooting and noticing that it still happened i uninstalled everything Intel. Now though, if i try and install RST again it says my system does meet the required specification.

Anyone have any idea what's going on?

Thanks.

Make sure to have the BIOS set to RAID mode then reinstall the intel chipset drivers 1st and then the intel RST drivers. Also reformat the SSD. The 25% CPU use was probably SRT doing it job of caching things to the SSD drive that are used most often and that may have caused some temporary lag as you put it, but I bet if you let it finish what it was doing it would not remain that way and it will learn what you use most often and won't need as much CPU or hard drive resources next time.
