Just got a 3700+ (Thanks OcUK) which I'm well please with as it does 3GHz on 1.525v with a Freezer 64 Pro. Incidently it even do 3030MHz on 1.6volts.

The problem is that my ram either has to run on a 166 divider at 2.5,2,2,5 (I guess it will probably run 2,2,2,5 at 214) 1T@214MHz or 1:1 at 273MHz

Trouble is my RAM used to run 260 - 2.5,3,3,6 1T but I can't even get it prime stable at 3,4,4,9 at 274. I'm a bit stuck really s this ram running at 214 is a complete waste but I don't have any money to change it.

Any suggestions? Will I get a huge performance hit running it slow with low latencies?

Its an amd 64 mate... dont go for the speed, tighter timings will increase the performance much more than the extra mhz... benchmark it and see for yourself :)

Both ways run 28seconds super PI but I find that SuperPI is little effected by cache or ram speed.

but with it this way it is at least stable

I should try a modern 3dmark or something
