Can't use 2nd hard drive?

Hi all,

I installed a 2nd HDD from an old laptop. Windows recognised it, and I was able to get the old data I needed off it for my Dad. Then I did a full format on it (using disk part). Now it appears in windows disk management but NOT in windows itself as a useable disk. See screenshot below. Any ideas please?

You haven't assigned a drive letter too it?

yeah looks like it's just missing a drive letter.. easily done!

Right click, Change Drive Letter and Paths...

Then set the drive letter you wish it to have
