Can't view CODE content on forums

This started to happen today, only on IE6, not Firefox. Whenever I view a forum post which has the [ code][ /code] tags, I can't view the content between those tags and they aren't using any hide hacks.
It only shows CODE: and a thin white rectangle below.
I've only noticed this with IPB and phpBB at the moment

What is causing this and how can I solve it?

Possibly a system restore point may help?

LOL. Yes it works fine with vbullettin boards, not IPB and phpBB.

EDIT 2: I just went on a website to sign-up for a website counter, and getting the same problem with the form, the field are shrunk and I can't enter any text in them. Here's a screenshot:
