At least they still want to bring some decent games to the PC. I know 2 of these are only fighting games but SF4 was perfect on PC AE will be better! SFxT is same team as SF4 so it will be comparable :)

Capcom still have several others games which may make it to PC like DMC0 & Asuras Wrath but they also confirmed Resident Evil Racoon City as well this year so they have 3 confirmed games on PC which is more than anyone else in 2011!

Is SF4 Arcade Edition just Super SF4 renamed?

glad to see the other games announced
just hope they will release RE5 Gold DLC :(

I thought the MT Framework made it easy for them to release on Windows as well as consoles.

The thing is, they have done a good job with dare I say ALL their PC SKU's using the MT Framwork.

Kudos to Capcom, one of the few mainstream developers who have shown support to the PC and treated its userbase with respect.

I thought they made a bit of noise about not releasing super sf4. Maybe they have had a re-think

Now that Capcom have announced Street Fighter X Tekken will see a PC release it will be interesting to see if Namco will give Tekken X Street Fighter a PC release.

Also I wonder if sometime down the line Capcom will release MVC3 for PC.

Yeah, I too am hoping they will.

Seemed to be a pretty good port to the PC, like they had made an effor this time (unlike RE4), so I was surprised they weren't bringing the DLC to PC as well.

Because people were using SFIV on PC to make their own cheap custom arcade cabinets, Capcom make a lot of money by selling it to arcades but apparently a lot of Chinese arcades (or maybe Korean) were just making their own by using the PC version of the game inside a custom cab.

Very lucky they decided to bother bringing it to PC again.

Arcade Edition is a rebalancing of Super SFIV with 4 new characters, sadly it's worse if you ask me, lots of ridiculous nerfs across the board it has gotten quite a bit of bad press in the fighting game community.

meh after playing sf4 on pc and then ssf4 on xbox, il take the xbox players and usability any day.
graphically theres not much between the two either that is noticable.

and i presume AE will hit 360 first so il just get that, even though it will be a sack of **** compared to ssf4

Whilst it's good to see, won't they just be ports (flame suit on) like the majority of other Capcom games? DR2 was nothing short of terrible on the PC. :(

the pc version of SF4 is graphically superior to the xbox and ps3 version by some distance and have them all

i agree with the xbox having the better community tho but since fighting games are not that big on the pc that's understandable

but gameplay wise it should be exactly the same if you us the same pad across the platforms

So we've flipflopped back to loving capcom now?

It was only ~3months ago that this subforum was damning them for something or other.

its always good to see devs releasing pc games. shame they will be ports and will probably offer nothing different to the console counterparts, but still good none the less.
why are fighting games so limited on pc? i loved fight night 4 and the wwe series on the ps3, surly they could do something for the pc, or are sales really that bad?
a comeback of the mortal kombat series would also be awesome, im sure if they put some effort into the pc versions then sales would increase. especially as a lot of people i know have gone the same way as me and ditched the consoles for some semi decent pc rigs. just be nice if pc got the same kinda love as console one for this genre.

superior? no/
better slightly.
its a fighting game the differences in graphical fidelity are minimal to say the least

Finally SSF4 AE on PC. The Oni Akuma and Evil Ryu look bad ass.

Yup;).

I was one of them as I wanted SSF4 on PC. But now it has become even better with SSF4 AE and other games on pc.

Yup. I would like more fighting games on both PC and consoles. This generation there is hardly been any fighting game. Saying that it would be awesome playing SSF4 AE on my gaming pc and the satisfaction gained by turning on all settings to max:cool:.
