Agree. Not quick enough if we ever revert back to the counter attacking football we played at our peak last year but if we're just going to play possession football like we did when Rodgers arrived he has a place in the squad.

I know it's only the League Cup but ****ing hell! That was horrendous to watch, from both teams. Nothing happened up until we equalised with both their goal and our first coming out of the blue. Even when we were 1-0 down nothing changed, no energy, no tempo, just passing it from side to side.
Not sure what the ref saw for their red card. Maybe you could give a foul for the follow through but it wasn't out of control nor particularly dangerous.

3 left backs... 1 at CB who is 5 ft and barely a defender, and Raylor who was never that good anyway playing his first real game for 2 years lol.
