LvG would still have expected them to win, it shouldn't be going this badly. They look absolutely awful.

If this was Moyes in his 3rd game nobody would be calling for his head, not here anyway.

U21s for the most part - not a PL team, not even "2nd string" (given well over half havent even played 1 epl game

Im not disputing its ******** awful but its not the same as even 2nd string let alone a pl team

To be fair though, Leicester and Burnley have been knocked out by teams in lower leagues than them.

Radio 5 commentator is right, its utds lightest fixture list for a season, they may as well have had a go at this cup.

As much as it is rather funny - in all honesty what does the Carling Cup matter? In the grand scheme of things its worthless to a club of United stature. Better to be out and have the league as the only focus in my honest opinion.

To fight against relegation?

I don't understand why play a reserve team. The first team could do with the practise and if they won get a little bit of confidence back.

Lvg has changed formations about 4 times this season and it's been a blunder almost every time.

Out of this team I would keep De Gea, Perreira and Januzaj and ship out the almost everyone else.

And I think this has finally confirmed (if there was any doubt) that Anderson is as bad as Cleverley, if not worse.

How bad would it have to get for you to be at that point, out of interest?

With LvG? He said 3 months so I expect to see improvements over the next 10 games or so. We've yet to field a team even close to our best 11 so far.
