Capital One Cup - Second Round ** Spoilers ** [26/27 August 2014]

I thought I watched an almost car crash performance yesterday from my local team that I support, Staines Town. But I follow Man Utd too. Normally I would expect Man Utd to be in a class far above Staines Town but based on current form I actually think that Staines could be beat them at the mo :p

Staines are in the Conference South.
 
wtf was Hernandez doing, that fell to him by accident but he had space and time to do anything. Likewise Welbeck, just runs and runs till he's got no where to go then shoots despite being clearly blocked off with no chance. Ignored all the possible passes he could make. This squad was asking for a whooping, Welbeck/Hernandez has zero guile or creativity and poor decision making. THe midfield, very little creativity, very little quality, defensively awful. Defence.... lol.

You never know, safe to say that our depth is disturbingly poor.

You'd think that if he was serious about winning he'd have Rooney and a couple of others on the bench tonight.

A reserve/youth team against a lower league team giving it 110% always has the potential to go badly (like it is doing).

Our most senior player Evans has had a nightmare which hasn't helped matters either.
 
As much as it is rather funny - in all honesty what does the Carling Cup matter? In the grand scheme of things its worthless to a club of United stature. Better to be out and have the league as the only focus in my honest opinion.
