Capital One Cup Semi-Final - 7/8/21/22 January *** Spoilers ***

I'm just laughing at it all now, what can you say.

We have to spend this month. Have to. Hopefully this will further push us towards new players.

Hopefully towards overspending on rubbish Everton players again. Hibbert and Osman could be available.

I hope Man United do spice up the transfer window and spend big but I doubt it. Cleverly, Andrews and Young are not top flight Premiership players. I'd like to see Kagawa played more, used to love watching him in Germany. MF doesn't fit Man Uniteds team, I thought this before they signed him. However the biggest problem was changing out all the backroom staff.

This is of course just my opinion.

Andrews???

Never fancied United to win the game before kick off, thought it would be a draw if im honest. Still think United have a good chance of going through, dont really fancy Sunderland at OT.

Dreadful but they also only won through an own goal and adam diver Johnson....

Need to invest heavily...... which probably means coentroa and no one else:(

That performance was just more of the same, it really is bad. Little effort, no desire, barely attack until we're losing.

You have to look at the players to some extent, but they clearly aren't playing for the manager. A lot of them are fairly average and they aren't finding that extra gear, or even close to it.

The solution is to buy players, now. Ok we'll be able to field RvP and Rooney together soon hopefully and they will carry us but not if we never have the ball, and what if they get injured again? We might actually finish 7th/8th.

You have to wonder what the Glazers make of it all.

I really think moyes has lost the dressing room

You might actually be right.

I'd take Osman at this stage, no joke. :( :p

I'm sticking by Moyes. It'll be interesting to see which players see the exit.

He was the wrong choice.

We did not need a watered-down Fergie...

An established top European manager with his own mind would have been a better choice.

We won't see enough change with the players in January especially because of this.

The team out tonight was more than capable of beating Sunderland

Really scraping the barrel now ManU lol.

Don't you ******** dare go losing to the Mackem scum, them in a final will make th even more irritating than normal.

Changing the backroom staff is just a pedalled out cliche now like 'no plan b'. It's not the backroom staff that would be kicking this bunch of gutless ****s all over the changing room. It's Fergie.

Just the same as when Chelsea failed it was because they got rid of Ray Wilkins or some other guff.

Honestly I think both could get in the starting line up. They keep banging on about Baines, screw that they need Jag's far more than they need Baines. Hell buy Lescott for £3 as a make shift LB to last the next 18 months. :p

Is it that? Or is it down to how good a manager Fergie was? For a few years now I'd say United's squad was pushing above their weight and I think the reason for that was Fergie. With Moyes I think we are starting to see how weak they are compared to how they used to be.

Also points more towards Moyes for me with how better Everton look without him.

Utd signing Hibbert would be the greatest thing in football in my lifetime.

Such as?

Sooner or later we are going to have to give the people in the lower leagues a chance to come through or other managers in the PL because we eat through managers both at home and from europe and then dismiss them as clueless after all when things don't go well after one season.

At least Gimp and Robbo still show up in the threads after every loss :D A lot of Man U fans have disappeared of late

Not a huge shock, it's easy to post when you are winning much harder when you have to put up with the **** most the rest of us do :p

Fair play to the ManU fans who have stuck round, be interesting to see if the others come back if they win a cup :p
