No offence to Everton but thank **** it's not an all Merseyside final, the coverage in the build up would've been vomit inducing.

It would have at least breathed a tiny bit of life into a tournament no one really gives a damn about until they make the final, especially a top 4 club.

He will go and Moyes will be back in charge next year. Lucky year off the backbone of a well set up team that was already playing good football.

He'd ship a hundred goals with the Arsenal invincible back four. It's as though his best hope to keep stones is to make him look ****. Good collection of players, chelsea aside who else is under performing more?

Get rid.

Its definitely Martinez's fauilt that Stones has been found out as being overrated. Martinez gave the ball away last week and lost Aguero yesterday.

Yep, definitely his fault Stones is making basic errors.

What an utterly ridiculous statement. As though coaching, confidence, tactics, set up and even the risks and way he's been asked to play have nothing to do with it. Players make basic errors when they are lacking confidence on the ball.

...And when they are being played out of position. He's not the same player at RB. He is an out and out CB, you wouldn't see Kompany being played at RB...He's too busy being injured. :p

It's not a ridiculous statement at all. Even Paul Merson of all people slaughtered Stones for his poor positional play. He will make errors being the CB he is but you can't be holding anyone at fault for that pass to Howard or his diabolical positional play. The faults with Stones who frankly is being found out.

Of course you can put people to blame for his bad positional play and decision making. That's what the coaching team is supposed to be doing for young players. They cannot be blamed for small errors like a bad back pass but his whole game is suffering regardless of where he plays under Martinez. It's not about a bad decision here and there his whole game has gone to pot this season. He hasn't been found out at all. Being found out is if he didn't have the ability in the first place, quite clearly to everyone he had it.
