Not really fussed on this tbh, Newcastle have a hard game against Man Utd, so if we win fair enough, if we lose... good, we are going to get enough games in enough competitions.

Although I'd love us to win it. Of the cup competitions we are involved in I'd rather put more effort in the Europa League.

Well i would expect us the defending champions to run away from this cup so that we can give Wenger a chance also but again we are in serious need of wins and the boys look more interested/capable of wining that our so called first team.

With our already small squad being hit by a few injuries, I can only see us putting out a similar side to the one that played Young Boys. With Borini injured and assuming Suarez won't play, I really hope we get to see Yesil through the middle instead of Pacheco. The decision to play Pacheco (through the middle anyway) vs Young Boys didn't make sense - not only was the position alien to Pacheco but he seemingly doesn't have a long-term future at the club either.
