Capture Card Questions..

AMD Vega 64

Tried recording game footage with OBS and getting lower fps in game and rubbish quality. If i bought a 4k capture card is all the work done by the capture card and therefore would affect frame rates?

Sadly not. The best way for a capture card to work is from a seperate PC. I have a basic 1080P 60 fps external capture card and it still affects frame rates, although not badly. I actually find ShadowPlay for NVidia to be pretty good although quality isn't the best but not bad. Running through Vegas cleans it up also, which helps.

I have AMD Relive but it won't record in X Plane 11 for some reason
