Capture card

Hello.

Im looking at a capture card for my xbox to record gaming and upload it to the internet. I can't justify paying £100 + for a HD PVR like my mate has. Yes there good but I don't need one enough to pay £100. lol

The recommended card from my Forza playing mates is the Elgato Game Capture HD which does passthrough to the TV. It's over £100 though.

Yeah my mate bought one of those. He had the HD PVR first then upgraded to the Elgato.

All the cheaper ones record at SD. You need a PVR or better to get decent quality.

Orrr, switch to PC and use DxTory!

Just checked out gumtree and theres an elgato capture card for £75 and some Roxio cards for £50.

Do I risk £75 through gumtree though where theres no feedback system I don't think.
